Its a little under diameter. New flat bed trailer stake, 2X4 end, aluminum this listing is for a old stock stake military flatbed trailer, such as the m871 or m872. The stake has two sections, part that holds boards to retain cargo, and a tab slide into slot. The slot section is 5.

Buyer pays shipping. 85 wide, so good for about a thick board, or little more.

Heres an end view: there is a hole near the bottom of tab section for retention pin. There are 3 slots, 2 parallel with the broad side, and 1 short side.
